Family Constellation Work

Family Constellation Work is a therapeutic process designed to reveal the inter-generational dynamics within a family system and address the conscious and unconscious entanglements therein. During the constellation process these entanglements become conscious, resource arises and the way to heal them becomes more clear.
I attended my first Family Constellation in 2010, and although I was only a representative in the constellation, I had a deep healing regarding my father. The experience stayed with me and the question that arose was this: - How can such deep, inter-generational work happen in such a simple and efficient way? In 2015, I attended Family Constellation circles in the SF Bay Area. At first, I attended as a representative and then I received my own constellation. In 2016, I attended my first facilitator training, and began to understand my lingering question.

A Family Constellation takes place in a one-on-one session, or in a group setting and it is led by a facilitator either online or in person. In both forms, the facilitator and client meet beforehand to get acquainted, discuss the current issue(s) at hand, and set intentions for the work.
During a group constellation, the client witnesses while the group facilitator asks for representatives from the group and guides them through a process in which unconscious family dynamics arise and entanglements, both conscious and unconscious, come to the surface for healing.
The one-on-one session is held either online or in person and the facilitator uses a tableau and symbolic objects, and themselves, to represent family members. In a group or one-on one the constellation often creates an energetic ripple through the client to the entire family system, which result in new ways of being in relationship with ourselves and our families.

A Family Constellation includes:
- A Complimentary Consultation: A time to get acquainted and set intentions for our work together.
- An Individual or Group Constellation
- Follow-up appointment (optional): 4-6 weeks later. This is a time to integrate the Constellation.
