Migraine Support Group
|
"The World Health Organization places migraine as one of the 10 most disabling medical illnesses on earth." And yet, there is still little accommodation made for it in our world. For those of us who survive it daily, weekly, etc. it can feel overwhelming to navigate our lives. This constant companion has affected my life's journey since I was 11 years old, and is one of the many reasons I became a Craniosacral Therapist. While there is not a cure for Migraine, a fact I wish more Doctors would admit, I've found through my own healing journey, it's possible to disentangle oneself from the complex web of conditions that hold Migraineurs in their grip, and begin to feel less controlled by its presence in our lives.
Would you like support in weathering these unpredictable storms? Are you curious to hear the experiences of other Migrainuers? The Migraine Support Group offers a safe space to share, explore, and find the missing pieces to the puzzle of this misunderstood chronic, invisible illness. Please join us as we share stories and strategies, and support each other to find new ways to live more joyful lives. |
Group Details: Mondays, 4:30-5:30 PM HST | 7:30-8:30 PM PST Online offering, please RSVP for link By donation (If video is difficult for you, please join with audio.) |
"The Migraine Support Group has helped me connect to others who struggle with the same pain and medication management issues that I have. Traditional medicine does not. It's so helpful to connect with others in the same situation and to learn from and talk with peers." C.G. 1/2022
